Wow has it really been like almost 2 years.
The last one was a big one for the World. As we were shut down across the world due to a Pandemic called Covid-19. People have lost businesses around the world because of all the shut downs. It has been a crazy year of 2020. Now 2021 has carried it into it. We wear masks everywhere, we are restricted to visitors, no gatherings. It is one crazy and different world we are living in now. But aside from that things have still moved forward just a lot more slowly. Like my husband and I finally selling our house in the country and finally moved back very close to the city of Winnipeg. We are so relieved to be close to family and friends. I have made several more short films and am in the midst of Pitching a couple of possible Television Shows. Plus I also started a Skincare and Makeup business. So yeah I've been busy. The bad thing this past year was my husband and I both tested positive around Christmas for Covid-19. We were very lucky in the fact that we had a very mild case compared to some. Many people have died from this illness. So we have thankfully healed and recovered from it and are back in our groove. We still to this day have no clue where we got it from. Pretty scary though. Hoping you are all surviving and staying healthy and safe during these crazy time. Wishing you all Health and many Blessings. Stay Well.

Hello Everyone:
Wow a year has gone by in the blink of an eye. It has been a very busy year for me. It started in January where I filmed my very first MIP (Member Initiated Project) called "A Prairie Christmas". Which went into the ACTRA Showcase and then onto Festivals. Then I went on to do another 48hour Film Festival for the Gimli Film Festival in Manitoba. The short is called "Instant Karma" which just showcased at the Encore Screening of the 48hour Gimli Film Festival. I had my 2nd speaking role in another Hallmark Film which will be aired at Christmas this one is called "Two Turtle Doves". I also started filming my TV show which I co-created and co-host with my friend Sophia Trudzik called "Big Talk". We filmed 5 episodes thus far and hope to have them on air this Fall. I am also a part of another TV show called "Spirit Search" which I play the Host and I am a Producer of the show as well. I have 2 more MIP's that I am a part of and who knows what else is coming my way. All I can say is bring it on! I am so loving my life right now. The busier I am the more I love it. I live and breathe this business. I am so grateful and honoured to be a part of it and everything I am given and have in my life. Hope your summer is a wonderful one. Talk again soon. Hello Everyone,
Well this past year was an exciting one for me. I booked my very first Unionized Speaking Role on a Hallmark Movie called Love in Design. Where I played a waitress named Carol. This gave me the option to go ACTRA, which I did after much deliberation on my part. So I am now a Union Actor and I hope to become a much busier actress. Oh, plus I now have an Agent from British Columbia by the name of Bree Crosby who is with Leo Management. Yay me! I am still trying to get my tv show Peg Style up and running. So if you feel like helping us out feel free to go over to our gofundme page and make a donation. Here is the link: https://www.gofundme.com/pegstyle Hope you all had a great summer because I know I did. Cheers, Cindy Myskiw Hello Again,
Well we have filmed another Season of Millworth. So that is now our Second Season. Another 6 Episodes are being edited as I type. Two of which I also got to Direct. This was a very exciting time for me. Millworth is airing on Shaw Cable TV in Winnipeg Channel 9 and is supposed to be airing on Shaw Direct Satellite Channel 299 across Canada, but for some reason it hasn't shown up on the screen yet. Well hopefully this year that will get fixed. I have had several more auditions this year and hopefully more to come cause it looks like a busy Winter. Wooohooo. Take care folks and feel free to send me your comments. Love Always, Cindy Hello everyone,
This past year has been an exciting and eventful one for me. I was part of an episodic series this past August and had an absolute blast. The Show is called Millworth and it is being aired on SHAW TV. It is about a High School in Winnipeg that is struggling. I play the new principal that comes in with great ideas to help the school, but soon discovers many road blocks. I worked with a wonderful young man by the name of Joshua Hood who was the creator and producer and pretty much everything else on it. The surprising thing about Josh is he is only 16 years old. Very talented young man. The rest of the cast and crew was just as talented and fun to work with. As of now I am enjoying my Christmas holidays because I am hoping for a very busy year coming for all of us in the business. May you all find Peace, Love and lots of Blessings in the coming New Year and we'll catch you all then. Cheers, Cindy Well I auditioned for a part in an Indie Episodic and I got the role. The show is called Millworth and my role is Mrs. Grimsley the Principal of the High School.
Shaw TV will be helping to produce this show and will be putting it on their local channel and airing it for us. Wooohoooo! I am so very excited and proud to be a part of this Venture. Well this has been a quiet year for me. Had a little background work on a New Series being done here in Manitoba, called "Sunnyside". Should be a lot of fun to watch so stay tuned for it. Had several Auditions but no luck yet.Although I do have "Ancient Pure Bloods" to look forward too! So here's to a busy up coming new year, at least I hope so.
Cheers, Cindy xo I am just updating my info to let you all know I am officially going to be in the movie called "Ancient Pure Bloods" I will be portraying an old woman in a wheel chair. So very excited. Figured I would type it in RED for the blood effect. MUHHAAA
